all along the road

So, they say life is a journey. If that's true, then mine has been a crazy, long, winding road full of adventures, trials and much laughter. I'm about to be 30 this year and amazingly enough, I'm just NOW starting to find myself and figure out who I really am. That's where this blog comes in. Here is where I'll share the things I'm learning and doing all along the road to becoming the woman I always knew was deep down inside. I hope that you guys can relate to, add to, or just be part of the road ahead. ♥

  2. Oh, Kasey, I can totally relate. I graduate from college this May (at the age of...32). It took until my late twenties to figure out who I am and what I want out of life. Since I started college late, I always feel in a hurry to get to the finish line rather than enjoying the journey that is getting me there. I see that you have already graduated, but this little post sang to me. Self discovery never quite ends, but it's really amazing to wake up and realize you have hit a huge milestone. Congrats!

    1. Thank you for this! Sometimes I feel like I'm behind or that I'm such a "late bloomer" so it always makes me happy to hear from other people who maybe took a more roundabout journey as well. I used to always be a little jealous of the people I knew who knew all along the things they wanted to do. They always seemed so sure of themselves. Now I feel like all those turns and twists and extra years have made me smarter and stronger and more confident than I would have been had I just jumped into something a long time ago.
