Since I graduated in December my life has been pretty boring. Lots of sitting at home on the couch while I look for a 'big girl' job. Well, those days are finally coming to an end. I got a job and I start next week. I'm super nervous because it will be my first social work job, but I'm excited to at least be doing something!
Like I said, my life has been pretty boring, so you gotta find the joy where you can. This past weekend my best friend and I went to Putt Putt and then out to my favorite pizza place. Oh my goodness, it was so much fun. I felt like a kid again! Sometimes its just really nice to turn off the grown up worries for a bit. And yes, we got a little silly at putt putt :)
And, that's really the extent of excitement in my week this week lol. Sometimes I feel so boring! But, I know that once I get into a routine, life will start to settle back into a normal rhythm. So hopefully, I'll have more fun stuff to blog about ;)
That sounds like so much fun! Jealous you live somewhere warm enough for putt putt, we're buried in snow here!
ReplyDeleteThat's the wonderful/terrible thing about Texas! In the middle of winter it was 75 and sunny this day and then a dreary 40 degrees the next lol.

ReplyDeleteThat's kind of the whole thing I've always thought social work would be - challenging but rewarding. So, now that I'm finally going to be doing it as a career I guess I'll finally see for myself :)
DeleteAw, mini golf (that's what we call it in the UK!) is one of my favourites - just love it, especially when you want to just act like a kid ;) Good luck with the new job, hope it goes really well :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think its funny that we call it Putt Putt. That's really just the name of the main place around here that has mini golf and it just kinda took over as the name. We even called our local place that even though it had a totally different name lol.

Oh Man that looks like Mellow Mushroom pizza... which just so happens to be my favorite!!! Unfortunately there's no MM anywhere close to our house (we're talking HOURS away). Total bummer! Where in Texas are you? (I'm just north of Corpus Christi!)
